I am trained primarily in Person-Centred counselling with other approaches such as CBT and Solution Focused, and I work in a client lead and co-operative way which can be described as non-directive. It means we work together to identify, understand and process experiences, and if needed, find new ways of meeting challenges.

Before opening up in private practice I counselled in the voluntary sector for a charity in Weston-Super-Mare, seeing clients with a range of issues and concerns and before that for Cruse Bereavement Care.

I'm an accredited registrant of The National counselling Society, and I abide by their ethical standards, which includes regular supervision and continual professional development. I hold insurance for my practice.
